Geography

The village of Chelny stands on the right bank of the Chelninskaya channel (the right-bank channel of the Amur ), 14 km below the village of Elabuga .

Near the village of Chelny passes the highway Khabarovsk - Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The distance to Khabarovsk is about 108 km (to the south-west).

The administrative border between the Khabarovsk and Nanai districts passes north-east of the village of Chelny.
