Calligonum molle (lat.) Is a species of dicotyledonous plants of the genus Zhuzgun ( Calligonum ) of the buckwheat family ( Polygonaceae ) [2] .

It was first described by the Russian botanist Dmitry Ivanovich Litvinov in 1913 [2] [3] , and soon he identified the taxon as a synonym for bristled juzgun ( Calligonum setosum ) [4] [5] . In some sources Calligonum molle is considered synonymous with C. setosum [6] [4] [5] , in others it is described as a separate species [2] [7] .
Distribution
It was originally distributed in small areas in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan [7] . In 2001, individual specimens were also collected from the territory of Turkmenistan [8] .
Security Notes
The number of plant instances is declining. The species is considered endangered according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature . The main threats to the existence of the species are cutting the plant and grazing in the places of its growth [7] .
