Biography
Born February 8, 1915 in the city of Moscow in the family of an employee. He graduated from 7 classes. He worked as a machinist at a spinning factory in the town of Melenki, Vladimir region .
In the Red Army since 1937. Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940.
At the front in the Great Patriotic War since 1941. In 1941 he became a member of the CPSU. He fought in the skies of Leningrad, the Baltic, East Prussia.
Air gunner-radio operator of the 34th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment of Guards Sergeant-Major Fyodor Lagunov in an air battle on July 26, 1944, an enemy fighter shot down over Tapa station.
By order of the 276th Guards Bomber Aviation Division of August 11, 1944, for courage and bravery shown in battles, the guard Lashunov Fyodor Ivanovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd class.
As part of the 34th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment, Fyodor Lagunov, on March 24-25, 1945, during the bombardment of the city of Heiligenbayl, ensured continuous communication with a group of airplanes in the air and with the regiment command post.
During the bombing, the railway bridge, six cars, 43 enemy vehicles were put out of action.
By order of the 1st Air Army of April 19, 1945, for courage and bravery shown in battles, the foreman Guard Lagunov Fyodor Ivanovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
The communications commander of the squadron of the 34th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment, Fyodor Lagunov, on April 12, 1945, participated in the bombing of the enemy as part of a group of aircraft in the Gross Blumenau area. As a result, several warehouses were destroyed and the targets of a number of enemy strongholds were hit.
During the bombing of April 24, 1945, in the area of the city of Pillau, two anti-aircraft batteries, five railway cars, ten cars, a large number of enemy personnel, a pier were damaged, a section of the railway track was destroyed.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated May 15, 1946, Lagunov Fyodor Ivanovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st Degree for exemplary performance of the tasks of the command in battles with the German-enemy invaders of the Guard, becoming a full holder of the Order of Glory.
During the war years, the pilot, F.I. Lagunov, was shot down six times, four times his wife received a notice of his death.
After the war, he continued to serve in the USSR Air Force for some time. Since 1948, the guard Junior Lieutenant F.I. Lagunov in stock. He lived in the city-hero Kerch. He worked at a shipyard. He died on November 30, 1987.
He was awarded two Orders of the Red Banner , two Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Orders of Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, medals.
