Ayeleh Vorku ( June 12, 1979 , Arsi , Ethiopia ) is an Ethiopian athlete specializing in 5000 meters. She won bronze medals at the World Championships in 1999 and 2001.

Career
For the first time, Aielech Vorku took part in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. She finished the twelfth in a run of 5000 meters and became the best of the representatives of Ethiopia .
She finished 12th in her first World Athletics Championships in 1997.
At the 1999 World Championships in Spanish Seville, she set a personal record and won a bronze medal at a distance of 5000 meters. Soon after, she won the All-African Games .
In 2000, Vorku participated in the Olympic Games for the second time. At the Sydney Olympics, she finished fourth in the 5000 meter race, losing a medal in the fight with compatriot Goethe You .
At the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, she won a bronze medal.
In 2007, she won the Hamburg Marathon .
