OFC Champions League 2014/2015

OFC Champions League 2014/15 , also O-League 2015 ( English 2015 O-League ) - the 14th draw of the club football tournament held by the Oceania Confederation of Football (OFC) , and the 9th after its reorganization under the current name. The reigning champion is Oakland City .

The winner of the OFC Champions League 2015 will receive the right to represent Oceania at the Club World Cup 2015 . Both finalists will also take part in the OFC President’s Cup 2015 (scheduled for November 2015), in which two teams from the Asian Football Confederation and two other invited clubs will also participate.

Members

The tournament was attended by 15 teams representing 11 football associations - members of the OFK. The four associations that showed the best results in the OFC Champions League 2012/2013 ( New Zealand , Fiji , Tahiti and Vanuatu ) received 2 places in the group stage. Three more associations ( New Caledonia , Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands ) got 1 place at the group stage. The teams of these countries were joined by the winner of the preliminary round, which was attended by representatives of four developing associations ( Samoa , Tonga , American Samoa and Cook Islands ).

Group Stage

Group stage matches were held in Mba and Suva ( Fiji ) on April 11-18, 2015. The group stage draw was held on December 5, 2014 in Auckland [1] . 12 teams, distributed in 4 baskets, were to make up three groups, in which one-round tournaments were held. The winners of the groups, as well as the strongest team from the runners-up, went to the playoff stage, where the winner of the OFK Champions League 2014/2015 was determined.
