Geographical position
Novye Vody is located in the eastern part of the Korablinsky district , 10 km east of the district center .
Nearest settlements:
- Krivka village west of the village;
- Bykovskaya Steppe village, 2 km to the north along an asphalt road.
Nature
The village is crossed by the New Waters River (formerly called God's Waters), which flows into the Ranova River.
It is surrounded by forests that are part of the Bastyn State Nature Reserve.
In the middle of the village, a spring flows into the New Waters river.
History
The village is indicated in the "Lists of the populated places of the Russian Empire" in the Ryazan province for 1862. Apparently, the name was given by the river of God's Water, on which it was located.
After the October Revolution, it was renamed New Waters.

Earlier in Novyye Vody there was a complex of buildings at the Bykovskaya Steppe state farm.
