Volokhsky (Voloshsky, Volozhsky) hussar regiment - the cavalry unit of the Russian Imperial Army, which existed in 1776-1783.
History
Formed in 1769 by the states of the field 6-squadron hussar regiment of the " Wallachians " settled in the Novorossiysk province . In 1775 it became a settlement. In 1776, the Volokh Hussar Regiment was again formed from the settled regiment.
In 1780, three regiment squadrons led by Lieutenant Colonel Depreradovich were sent to pacify migrants in Crimea.
In 1783, the regiment went to compose the Konstantinograd light-windowed regiment .
