History

In the vicinity of the village, the most ancient evidence of the presence of the lower reaches of the human Caps , belonging to the period, called by the archaeologists "Mesolithic" - the Middle Stone Age, was found. The finds are flakes - evidence of the production of labor tools and weapons of silicon - and date from the first half of the 7th millennium BC. er [3]

The village was founded in 1557, its original name is Chepetsk-Ilinskoe. [2]

At the same time, the first warm wooden church with a refectory in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah was built . [four]

In 1602, a cold wooden church was built in the name of the Entry into the temple of the Most Holy Theotokos with the aisle of Flora and Laurus. In 1642, the old wooden church burned down, two years later it was renewed with the Alexis chapel of the man of God. In 1672, the cold Vvedenskaya church was rebuilt into a warm one with two side-chapels - the holy prophet Elijah and Alexis the man of God, and the wooden warm Ilyinsky church was repaired and made cold, consecrating in the name of Flora and Laurel. In 1697, both churches were burned and dismantled. In 1699, in the village, two different wooden churches were again indicated - the cold Vvedenskaya and the warm Ilinskaya. In the parish, there were 180 yards of black-nosy peasants. [four]

On March 21, 1780, at a church meeting, it was decided to build a new stone church in the village with two chapels. At the same time, the parishioners asked the Vyatka merchant Georgy Akinfovich Shmelev to petition in the Consistory to receive a certificate for building a new stone church. On April 9, 1780, Bishop Lawrence issued a temple letter to the congregation. In 1782, the dilapidated wooden Vvedenskaya church was dismantled; while the stone church was being built (carried out by the merchant G. A. Shmelev, who lived in the village of Bobrovskaya Chepetsk-Ilyinsky parish), the church services were held in a dilapidated wooden Ilinsky church. In the parish, there were 199 yards. [four]

The stonework of the cold church, the warm chapels to it and the stone bell tower was completed in 1788. Finishing work began immediately in a warm chapel. In October 1789, the right side chapel of the warm church in the name of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos was consecrated. The left side chapel of the warm church was consecrated in the name of the holy prophet Elijah. The old wooden Ilyinskaya Church stood in the village for several more years, and then it was used to build a church fence. [four]

In 1805, the parish has 244 yards, in which 906 men and 286 women of all ages live. In 1811, in Chepetsky-Ilyinsky, there was a stone two-entrance church for three thrones - in a cold temple in the name of the All-merciful image of the Savior, and in a warm church - Vvedensky and Ilyinsky. In the parish 250 yards, men - 920, women - 1081. In 1816, the finishing works were finished on the bell tower and the bells were raised on it. In the village in 1831, there are 16 houses, they have 58 male souls and 73 female. [four]

On February 25, 1884, a decree was signed in Vyatka Spiritual Consistory on the expansion of the two-throne warm church in the village of Chepetsk-Ilyinsky. In place of the old brick church that was disassembled, in 1885, a new church building was built; the consecration of his right side-altar was held on September 29 in the name of the Entry into the temple of the Most Holy Theotokos; September 21, 1886 was consecrated and the left aisle in the name of the Holy Prophet Elijah. In this view, the Savior Church in the village of Ilyinsky reached the end of its closure and destruction. [four]

According to the census of 1926, the village is the center of the Ilinsky village council with a population of 230 people (55 farms); in the village council there are 30 settlements with a population of 1,918 people (392 farms). [2]
