Biography
Born April 15, 1916 in the village of Lenišće. Before the war, he worked as a blacksmith at the Fan plant, where he joined the labor movement. He was admitted to the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, participated in strikes and strikes of workers. Secretary of the 2nd Zagreb District Committee of the Communist Party of Croatia.
In 1941, after the occupation of the country, he entered a partisan underground and participated in a number of sabotages: with anti-fascists Ante Milkovich and Ivo Glukhak, Kroflin blew up the Zagreb-Sisak road, and also arrested the spy by Ustasha Ludevit Tilyak. September 14, 1941 attacked a group of Ustasha on Vrbanichevaya Street: 12 Nazis were wounded as a result of the battle, but Kroflin himself was captured. For 16 days, he was tortured and beaten at the police station, from the consequences of which he died on September 30, 1941 .
On December 14, 1949 he was posthumously awarded the title of People's Hero of Yugoslavia.
