Biography
The father of Nikolai Djuric, Trikhon Markovich Dzhurich, an honorary citizen of Taganrog, a merchant of the 1st guild, in the 30s engaged in the purchase and resale of wheat abroad and excessively rich [2] .
In 1864, Nikolai Dzhurich at a meeting of the Russian Geographical Society, in his incendiary speech, defended primacy on the Azov Sea of the Taganrog port compared to the Rostov [2] . P. Filevsky described Dzhurich as “... a person with great talent, but not serious enough about his public activities” [2] .
In 1871, the candidate of rights N. .. Djuric was elected an honorary magistrate, from 1876 to 1880 the city mayor [2] . With its help, the Archangelsk-Michael Church was preserved on the site of the former fortress. He had an estate in the village of Nikolaevka [2] .
Djuric began building the first three-story house in Taganrog, 40, which was forced due to financial difficulties to sell to the District Court [2] .
