It is located 6 kilometers north of the town of Korablino, on the left bank of the Aleshni River (a tributary of the Prony).

History
The village of Zimarovo is mentioned in the sources of the XVII century. At the end of the XVIII century - the wasteland of Zimarova. In the middle of the XIX century - the village of Zimarovsky Khutor, in which peasants from the village of Bykovo were evicted. According to the census of 1858, the inhabitants of the village and the farm were one society. They also had one owner - Elagina.
At the end of the 19th century, the village of Zimarova was mentioned.
In the source of 1906, the village of Bykovsky settlements near the Aleshn River is mentioned. Then - the village of Zimarovo.
In the clergy records of the Intercession Church in the village of Aleshnya (Nazaryevo) for 1914 it is referred to as the village of Zimarovka with 9 yards.

The tract is located east of Zimarovo.

In the mid 20-ies of XX this village in the amount of 10 yards was part of the Alesha village council. The village was located 6 miles from the village of Korablino. In 1949, the village, along with the village of Muratovka, was located on the New Life collective farm.
