Stefanie Goddard was born from a mixed marriage of a German and an Englishman in the city of Rinteln , but spent her childhood in Gutersloh , and therefore the first steps in football were made to her in the local team of Gutersloh 2000 . In 2002, together with the youth team of this club, she became the champion of Germany, and a year later she managed to make her debut for the German national team (under 15 years) .

Since 2004, she began to play for the core team of Gütersloh 2000 . In the 2005/06 season, she managed to score eight goals, but this allowed the club to eventually take second place in the standings of the second Bundesliga “North” . Stephanie received a proposal to join the Bundesliga team Bad Neuenahr , but she was forced to reject him because of the desire to finish school.

In early 2007, the newspaper Neue Westfälische recognized her as the best athlete of the year in the Gütersloh area [1] . On May 1, 2007, she signed a contract with Duisburg 2001 . Her debut in the Bundesliga took place in a match against Frankfurt on August 26, 2007 , which ended with a score of 8: 1 in favor of Duisburg [2] . In 2009, together with the team, she managed to win the Champions League , defeating the 2005 Star in the final match. In the same year she won the victory in the German Cup . She played in this club until 2011 , managed to play 28 games in the Bundesliga and score 10 goals.

In 2011, she played for the season in the USA for Virginia Beach Piranhas , where she played 11 times in 10 matches, [3] and then signed a contract with Bremen Werder , performing in the second Bundesliga “North” [4] . The debut in the new team took place in the German Cup match on August 13, 2011 against “ Ripsdorf ”, and the only goal that brought victory to Bremen was scored by Goddard herself [5] .
