Club career

He began his professional career in 1955 at Rouen . In it, Ett spent 33 matches and scored 12 goals. From 1957 to 1959 he defended the colors of Lille . In 1959, Francois moved to the capital “ Racing ” and in the first season he helped the new club to take bronze medals of the championship. The next two seasons, Racing took second place in the championship. He spent the 1964/65 season at St Etienne . The next season he played for the former club - Lille . The 1966/67 season defended Reims colors. After season 2 he spent at the club from League 2 - “ Chaumont ”. He completed his career in Racing , which he helped to get out of the Amateur Championship in League 3 . At the metropolitan club, Ett played from 1969 to 1972.

Team Career

The debut for the French national team took place on December 13, 1959 in the qualifying match of the 1960 European Championship against Austria . At the final stage of the 1960 European Championships in France, Ett scored two goals (both in the 1/2 finals against Yugoslavia ) and, together with four other players, became the tournament's top scorer.
