Geography
The village is located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Galich . [2]
History
According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 11 yards in it , 37 men and 42 women lived. [2]
According to the 1897 census , 109 people lived in the village (39 men and 70 women). [3]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Ascension parish of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 13 peasant households and 58 inhabitants. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Toltunovsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
