Denis Aleksandrovich Kudryavtsev (born April 13, 1992 , Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in 400 meters hurdles , the silver medalist of the 2015 World Championships , the bronze medalist of the 2014 European Championships , the champion and record holder of Russia. He made his debut in the national team of Russia in 2013.

Biography
Born in 1992 in Chelyabinsk . He trained under the leadership of Vladislav Shiryaev [2] [3] , Anatoly Kraus and Alexander Sivchenko [4] [5] [6] .
In June 2013 he won the youth championship of Russia, in July of the same year he became the champion of Russia among adult athletes [7] . In August 2013, as part of the Russian national team, he took part in the World Cup held in Moscow , taking the final 23rd place [7] . In 2014, he became the bronze medalist of the Russian Indoor Championships, in March of that year he became the 5th at the European Indoor Championships [7] , and in June 2014 he won the silver award of the Russian Championships [7] . In August 2014, with a result of 49.16, he became the bronze medalist of the European Championship in Zurich [8] .
On August 25, 2015, at the World Championships in Beijing, he won a silver medal in the 400m hurdles, setting a new Russian record - 48.05.
Russian Championship 2016 missed due to an ankle injury [9] . In July, he took part in the Cup of Russia and the tournament "Stars 2016". He was not admitted to the Olympic Games.
