Tosia (lat.) Is an oligotypic genus of starfish of the goniasteridae family (Goniasteridae). First isolated in 1840 by the British zoologist John Edward Gray [1] [2] .

Systematics
It includes three biological species [1] :
- Tosia australis gray , 1840
- Tosia magnifica Muller & Troschel , 1842
- Tosia neossia Naughton & O'Hara , 2009
Distribution
All three species are endemic to the southeast coast of Australia [3] , living on small rocky reefs [4] .
