Shehsuvar Kadyn Efendi ( Turkish : Şehsüvar Kadın Efendi ; May 2, 1881 - 1945 ) - the first [2] wife of the last caliph from the Osman dynasty, Abdul-Majid II , and the mother of his only son, shekhzadeh Omer Faruk .

Biography
Shehsuvar was born into the family of the Ubykh Bey, who lived in Istanbul and served in the court of the Sultan. The girl spent her childhood in the palace, where she received a private education; lessons in drawing and playing the piano. Abdul-Majid married her on December 22, 1896 in the Ortakoy Palace. Two years later their only child was born. After the husband Shehsuvar became a caliph, the family moved to live in the Dolmabahçe Palace .
On March 4, 1924, together with other members of the Shehsuvar family, she went into exile. First, the Shehsuvar family went to Switzerland, then to France, where she remained to live in Paris. Shehsuvar died a year after her husband’s death and was buried in a Muslim cemetery in Paris.
