Sifan Hassan is a Dutch athlete of Ethiopian descent. Specializes in running for 1,500 meters. 2018 European champion in the 5000 meter race. 2013 European Cross-Country Youth Champion. 2014 European champion at a distance of 1,500 m, silver medalist of the 2014 European Championship in 5000 m.

Biography
In 2008, she came from Ethiopia to the Netherlands as a refugee. On November 19, 2013 she received Dutch citizenship and from November 29, 2013 has the right to speak at international championships. He currently resides in Arnhem.
