Geography
The village of Alekseevo is located in the northern part of the Pavlovo-Posad district, about 14 km north of the city of Pavlovsky Posad . Height above sea level 135 m [3] . The Plotnya River flows 2 km south of the village. 2 SNTs are attributed to the village [4] . The nearest settlement is the village of Timkovo, Noginsk District .
History
In 1926, the village was the center of the Alekseevsky Village Council of the Prigorodnaya Volost, Bogorodsky district, Moscow province , there was a school of the 1st stage [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement in the Pavlovo-Posad district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region, since 1930, due to the abolition of the district, in the Pavlovsky Posad district of the Moscow region.
Before the municipal reform of 2006, Alekseevo was part of the Kuznetsovsky rural district of the Pavlovo-Posadsky district [6] .
In the 2000s. a chapel was built in the village [7] .
Population
In 1926, 442 people lived in the village (200 men, 242 women), there were 83 farms, of which 77 were peasant [5] . According to the 2002 census , 35 people (15 men, 20 women) [8] .
