Story
The action takes place in an alternate present in Tokyo . On a typical summer day, a terrorist attack occurs, and the only clue to this case is an Internet video in which two teenagers talk about "plunging Tokyo into darkness." The police immediately began an investigation into this case, however, it was not possible to calculate the author’s address: the criminals used an anonymous network to download the video. The search for the two terrorist geniuses by the police has not yet been successful, but they continue to post videos on the Internet in which they encrypt clues about the location or defuse of the next bomb in "riddles" or visual movements. An employee of the Tokyo police department, a former detective Shibazaki in charge of terrorist acts, is trying to solve their riddles and find out the true motive to end the series of terrorist attacks. Two mysterious teenagers calling themselves “Sphinxes” ( . ピ ン ク ス supinkusu ) (in honor of a mythical creature who likes to ask riddles), confused not only the police, but also the people of Tokyo, and their identities remain a mystery.
