Born in Osik in 1882, in the family of priest Joseph Corbel and his wife Katerina Dolezal Corbel. At 18, he went to the USA to study, and later continued his studies in Berlin , Munich and Paris [3] . He was a member of the National Society of Sculptors [4] .
In 1919 he created a statue at the University of Havana , Cuba [5] .
He died on March 31, 1954 in Manhattan.
