The Darkness is a British rock band from Lowoft , Suffolk , formed in 2000 by the brothers Justin (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Dan Hawkins (guitar, back vocals), Frankie Pullen (bass, back vocals) and Ed Graham (drums, percussion). The group almost single-handedly managed the incredible - to revive the sound of classic hard rock and glam rock of the 70s, which was absolutely not fashionable at that time, for a generation that had absolutely no idea that it needed it. Powerful confident guitar riffs, sweeping carefree solos, an impeccable rhythm section, a huge share of humor and, of course, Justin's incredible vocals became the hallmark of The Darkness.

She also makes us feel like a depraved old man. ”
Regarding the departure of Ed Graham, one of the founding members of The Darkness, at the end of 2014, Hawkins said: “Ed had some well-known health problems in the past. And for one reason or another, he is no longer able to do his job. We are still friends with Ed. But now that Emily has appeared on the team, there’s nothing to worry about. ”
The Last of Our Kind album was released on May 27, 2015 in several versions: the usual, deluxe version, for Japan, Best Buy , and also containing the double of the song “Million Dollar Strong”, which was not included in the main album. April 21, 2015 was announced using the group’s official Facebook page:
“Unfortunately, we must report that our fantastic drummer Emily Dolan Davis leaves us for new projects, and therefore we warmly say goodbye to her. Emily played a huge role in recording our new album, “Last of Our Kind,” and her appearance in the Open Fire video is the last in The Darkness. ”
