IV Cypriot Cohort of Roman Citizens

IV Cypriot cohort of Roman citizens ( lat. Cohors IV Cypria civium romanorum ) - an auxiliary unit of the army of Ancient Rome.

Between 103 and 106, this unit was stationed in the province of Upper Moesia . It took part in the Dacian wars of Trajan and in 110 was mentioned in the garrison of the newly formed province of Dacia . Then the cohort was transferred to Upper Moesia (temporarily camped in Bumbesti). Individual parts of the cohort were on the northern Black Sea coast .
