Zach S. Stanberg ( born Zach Staenberg ; born in August 1951), [1] is an American editor , best known for the Matrix movie trilogy. Stanberg won an Academy Award and an ACE Eddie Award for editing the film The Matrix (1999). The authors of the script and the directors of The Matrix were the Wachowski brothers , with whom Stanberg had expanded cooperation since 1996.
