Mosque Dolmabahche ( tour. Dolmabahçe Camii ), also known as the Mosque Besmiele Valide Sultan ( tour. Bezmialem Valide Sultan Camii ) - a mosque of the XIX century, located to the south of the eponymous palace complex in Istanbul .

History
The construction of the mosque was begun in 1853 by order of the mother of Sultan Abdul-Mejid , Besmialem Sultan . Karapet Balyan , a member of the famous dynasty of Balyan architects, was appointed an architect. The mosque was completed after the death of Bezmeiale her son.
The mosque was built in the Baroque style and decorated very luxuriously in the Empire and Baroque styles. A distinctive feature of the mosque became large arched windows. The mosque has one dome and two minarets, which have two balconies. Since the mosque was part of the palace complex, the prayer room for the sultan (Maksura) was provided for in it [3] .
