Šuto Orizari ( Maked. Šuto Orizari , Zy. Shuto Orizari , Alb. Shutkë ) is a municipality in the northern part of the city of Skopje , the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. It is the only municipality in the world where Roma (representing the majority of the population) have special rights and elect their mayor (at present, since 2017, Curto Dudush [2] ).

Content
Geography
In the south it borders with the municipality of Butel, in the north - with the municipality of Chucher-Sandevo.
History
Shoot-Orizari began to be actively built up after the catastrophic 1963 earthquake .
After the renovation, Skopje and its outskirts began to settle here predominantly by Roma. Šuto Orizari has a high degree of urbanization, administrative and cultural institutions have emerged here.
In 1996, the administrative unit of Shuto-Orizari was formed from the former city district of the same name and two neighboring villages - Gorno-Orizari and Dolno-Orizari (Upper and Lower Orizari).
Economy
The district’s economy is in a state of decline, local politicians often manipulate state subsidies to support the Roma people.
Demographics
According to the latest obedo-cedon census, there were 22017 people living in the municipality, of which:
- 1.438 (6.53%) Macedonians
- 13.342 (60.60%) Roma
- 6,675 (30.32%) Albanians
- 177 (0.80%) Bosniaks
- 67 (0.30%) Serbs
- 56 (0.25%) Turks
- 262 (1.19%) Other
The area of Shuto-Orizari is 7.48 km², the population density is 780.75 live / km².
Institutions
There are two schools in Shuto-Orizari: “The Ramiz brothers and Hamid” (education in Macedonian , an additional subject is Gypsy ) and “July 26” with instruction in Albanian . There is also a hospital serving the residents of neighboring villages: Brazda , Kucevishte , Pobozhe , etc. There is also a free canteen serving the poor from Monday to Friday.
