Nikolai Möller Boylesen ( Dat. Nicolai Møller Boilesen ; born February 16, 1992 , Ballerup , Denmark ) is a Danish footballer , left back of the Copenhagen club [2] and the Danish national team .

Club career

 
Boylesen as part of Ajax

Boylesen started playing football in the Lille Hama amateur team. In 2004, he was admitted to the football academy of the Brondby club. Nikolai’s successful performances for the youth team have interested many European clubs. An interest in the defender showed Manchester United , Chelsea and Fiorentina .

In 2009, for 500 thousand euros, Boylesen joined the Ajax Amsterdam and until 2011 played for the club’s youth team. The first season was overshadowed by a series of injuries that hit Nikolai. In 2010, he was included in the team's application for the season. On April 3, 2011, in his match against Hercules , he made his debut in Eredivisi , replacing the Daily Blind at the beginning of the second half [3] . In September of that year, in a duel against PSV, Boylesen, in a clash with Jermain Lens, received a hamstring injury and was out of action until February 2012. On February 16, in a Europa League match against the English Manchester United, Nikolai received a relapse of injury [4] . This injury left him out of the game for the whole season.

In the summer of 2013, in the match of the Dutch Super Cup against AZ, Nikolai returned to the field [5] . On November 10, in a duel against NEC, he scored his first goal for Ajax [6] . As part of the Amsterdam club, Boylesen four times became the champion of the Netherlands, and also became the owner of the country's Super Cup.

In the summer of 2017, Boylesen moved to Copenhagen . On July 15, in his match against Aalborg , he made his debut in the Danish Super League [7] . On November 26, in a duel against Lyngby , Nikolai scored his first goal for Copenhagen [8] . In the same year, he helped the club win the championship and win the Danish Cup .

International Career

In 2011, as part of the Danish youth team, Boylesen took part in the home European Championship . In the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Switzerland [9] , Belarus [10] and Iceland [11] .

In 2011, Boylesen made his debut for the Danish national team . On November 15, 2013, in a friendly match against the Norwegian team, Nikolai scored his first goal for the national team [12] .
