I Augustova ala Thracians

I Augusta ala Thracians ( Latin Ala I Augusta Thracum ) - auxiliary unit of the army of Ancient Rome.

Mentioned in an inscription from the Syrian city of Gerasa , which probably dates to the end of the 1st century. Subsequently, this unit was relocated to the Danube border. In 107, a military diploma attested to the presence of ala in Recy . There are no longer any sources about finding a unit in this province. In 140–144, Ala was in Norik . Apparently, she remained there later.
