History
On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, the Rogozhsky churchyard is mentioned [2] .
The Rogozhskaya churchyard is marked on the map of Professor S. Kutorgi in 1852 [3] .
ROGOZHA (ROGOZHSKIY) - churchyard at the Syasi River, the number of households is 3, the number of inhabitants: 4 m. P.; Orthodox Church. Chapel [4] . (1862)
The collection of the Central Statistical Committee described it as follows:
ROGOZHSKIY - the former state churchyard at the Syasi River, courtyards - 2, residents - 9; Orthodox Church. (1885) [5]
In the XIX century, the churchyard administratively belonged to the Shakhnovsky volost of the 2nd camp of Novaya Ladoga district of St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the XX century - the 3rd camp.
According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905, there was a settlement of Rogozhi near Rogozhskiy Pogost, which was part of the Podryabinsky rural society of the Issad Volost, as well as the wood landing stage of Rogozh [6] .
According to the map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the pogost was called Rogozhskoy , it marked the church [7] .
From 1917 to 1923, the village was part of the Issadsky volost in Novoladozhsky district.
Since 1923, as part of Syasko-Ryadkovsky Village Council of the October Volost of Volkhov Uyezd .
Since 1924, as part of the Podryabinsky Village Council of the Kolchanovskaya volost.
Since 1927, as part of the Volkhov District.
Since 1928, as part of the Pulnitsky Village Council [8] .
According to the data of 1933, the village of Rogozha was part of the Pulnitsky Village Council of the Volkhov District [9] .
In 1938 the population of the village was 358 people.
Since 1946, in the Novoladozhsky district .
In 1958, the population of the village was 175 people.
Since 1963, again as part of the Volkhov district [8] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Rogozha was also part of the Pulnitsky Village Council [10] [11] [12] .
In 1997, 95 people lived in the village of Rogozha of Pulnitsky volost, in 2002 - 107 people (all Russians) [13] [14] .
In 2007, in the village of Rogozha Syasstroy GP - 98 [15] .
Geography
The village is located in the northern part of the district to the south-west and adjacent to the city Syasstroy near the highway P21 ( E 105 ) " Kola ".
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 6 km [15] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Kolchanovo is 16 km [10] .
The village is located on the left bank of the river Syas .
