Career
Club
He made his debut in the major league of Uzbekistan in 1999, playing for Karshi Nasaf . He played for this team for seven years and three times became the bronze medalist of the national championship.
In 2006, he moved to Mashal from the neighboring city of Mubarek and played for him for two seasons, in 2007 he won bronze medals.
Before the start of the 2008 season, he returned to Nasaf, is the main defender of the club. Over the following years, he won the bronze championship of Uzbekistan four more times, once won silver, and in 2011 won the AFC Cup - the second most important club tournament in Asia. In total, he spent over 300 games for Nasaf in the national championships.
Team
He made his debut in the national team of Uzbekistan in 2007. He was included by coach Rauf Inileev in the Asian Cup 2007 , and he never entered the field at the tournament.
After a three-year break, he was drafted into the national team in 2010, took part in the match against Armenia on May 25, 2010 [1] , this game was the last for Karayev in the national team. In total, he played 5 matches for the national team.
