Geography
It is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the northern part of the Taldom region, about 21 km northeast of the center of the city of Taldom . The nearest settlements are the villages of Glebovo , Kuznetsovo and Ulyantsevo .

History
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, Yurino is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver province on the left side of the Dmitrovsky tract, 34Β½ versts from the county town, with a well, with 13 yards and 113 residents (61 men, 52 women) [ 2] .
According to 1888, it was part of the Ozyorsk parish of the Kalyazinsky district, 26 families lived with a total of 158 people (71 men, 87 women) [3] .
By a resolution of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on August 15, 1921, the Ozersky volost was included in the Lenin district of the Moscow province [7] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census - the village of the Glebovsky village council of the Ozyorsk parish of the Leninsky district, 140 inhabitants lived (58 men, 82 women), there were 33 households, including 27 peasant [4] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Leninsky district of the Kimry district of the Moscow region.
By the decree of the CEC and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative-territorial unit was liquidated. By a decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on December 27, 1930, the historical name Taldom was returned to the city of Leninsk, and the district was renamed Taldomsky.
In 1954, the Glebovsky Village Council was abolished, its territory was transferred to the Ozersky Village Council.
1963-1965 - Yurino in the Dmitrovsky enlarged rural area .
In 1973, the administrative center of the Ozyorsk village council was moved to the village of Koshelevo , and the village council was renamed Koshelevsky.
In 1994, the Moscow Regional Duma approved the provision on local self-government in the Moscow Region, village councils as administrative-territorial units were transformed into rural districts [8] .
1994-2004 - The village of the Koshelevsky rural district of Taldomsky district.
By the Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region dated June 3, 2004 No. 106-PG, the Koshelevsky rural district was merged with the Yermolinsky and Nikolo-Kropotkinsky rural districts into a single Yermolinsky rural district [9] .
2004-2006 - The village of Yermolinsky rural district of Taldomsky district [10] [11] .
2006-2009 - The village of the rural settlement Ermolinskoe .
In 2009, the village of Yurino became part of the rural settlement Kvashenkovskoye of the Taldomsky municipal region of the Moscow region, formed by the separation of the rural settlement of Ermolinskoye.
