History

On November 29, 2004, in accordance with the Law of the Amur Region No. 382-OZ [2], the municipality was granted the status of a rural settlement.

By the law of the Amur Region dated April 26, 2013 No. 183-OZ [3], the abolished Kalinovsky Village Council ( Kalinovka village) was included in the Romnensky Village Council.
