Dimene-neodymium forms crystals of the rhombic syngony , space group I mma , cell parameters a = 0.4387 nm, b = 0.7001 nm, c = 0.7418 nm, Z = 4, structure of the dimetserium type CeCu 2 [1] [2] .
The compound melts congruently at a temperature of 840 ° С [1] .
At a temperature of 6.5 K, magnetic ordering occurs (a transition to the antiferromagnetic state) and at a temperature of 4.1 K, spin reorientation occurs [3] .
