He played for Australia’s lower league clubs Penrith Panthers, Illawara Lyons, Bonnirigg White Eagles , Rockdale City Sens , West Sydney Barris , Sydney United and A-League New Zealand Knights , Newcastle Jets . "

Sydney FC

In 2007, Ivan signed a contract with the Sydney A-League club as a backup goalkeeper after Clint Bolton [1], however, got grass in training and was eliminated for 3 months. He made his debut for the club in a friendly match against Los Angeles Galaxy on November 27, 2007, having played the second half. After Clint Bolton was injured in December 2007, Nachevsky made his A-League debut against Central Coast Mariners .

Ivan was the main goalkeeper at the 2008 Pan-Pacific Championship , since Clint Bolton had been injured in the match against Queensland Roar the week before. Nechevsky played both matches in the tournament, the first with the Houston Dynamo ended in a 0-3 loss, the second with the Los Angeles Galaxy ended 1-2.

Having not played a single match in the 2009/10 season, Nechevsky extended the contract for a year, hoping to become number one in the fight for a place in the goal with Liam Reddy [2] . In May 2014, he extended the contract with the club for one year, becoming the player who is the most in the club [3] .

After the end of the 2014/15 season, he left the club and joined the Rockdale City Sans , but on August 31 he again signed a one-year contract with Sydney . [4] .
