Biography
Cutler graduated from Harvard University and in the 1980s began his career as a theater director, and in the 1990s he moved to documentary projects.
In 2001, he received an Emmy Award for his American High reality series [2] .
In 2007, he produced and directed the September issue documentary, for which the plot of the film used material on the process of preparing for printing the Vogue issue for September 2007, which became the most voluminous glossy magazine in the history of the publication.
In 2009, a five-day retrospective of his works was held at the Museum of Television and Radio [3] .
In 2012, he acted as executive producer and director of a pilot episode of the ABC series Nashville , which received praise from critics [4] , and two years later, a pilot episode of Members Only , also for ABC [5] .
In 2014, Cutler also directed his first non-documentary, If I Stay. [6]
