Story
Pirate Zhang Baojai approaches the coast of South China under the guise of a wealthy merchant. Residents of that area live in poverty, undergoing corruption and exploitation by the authorities. Baojai attracts the attention of merchant Xiang Yulong and his sister. Baojai then agrees to transfer money and goods stolen from foreign colonists to residents.
Staying on land, Baozai learns that one of his former crew members, Hua Erdao, who is now a fugitive convict, captured his ship, goods, and crew. Since Hua wants to take revenge on him, Baozai flees and takes refuge in a casino.
The admiral of the imperial court, Qing sends young General Hu Yi to find out where the pirates are hiding. Hu Yi encounters Baozai, after which everyone demonstrates his martial arts skills in a duel. The general, in the end, begins to respect the opponent for good intentions and lets him go.
