Title
Ryazan local historian A. D. Sorokin argued that the village’s founder could be the sergeant watchman Martyn Grigoryev, who in the indicated years had in the vicinity of the village of Pekhlets a wild field land with a seven-year discount.
Residents sometimes call the village - Grigoryevsk.
Geographical position
Grigoryevskoye is located in the eastern part of the Korablinsky district , 11 km east of the district center .

- Zharkoe village 1 km to the west along an asphalt road;
- Knyazhoye village 3 km south-west along an asphalt road;
- the village of Krasnaya Gorka , 2 km southwest along the gravel road.
History
Near the village, archaeologists found villages and sites of the Bronze Age.
The exact time of the founding of the city is unknown. For the first time, Grigoryevskoe was mentioned in the “Payment book of the Pekhletsky camp of 1594-1597,” compiled by the clerk Tretyak Grigoryevich Velyaminov.
In the "Lists of populated places of the Russian Empire" for 1862, the village is referred to as Grigoryevskaya at the Ranova River.

800 m to the south-west is the inter-municipal highway “Korablino-Uholovo”, from which an asphalt branch to the village leaves.
- Transport
Communication with the district center is carried out by suburban (No. 138 "Korablino-Klyuch").
Nature
1 km east of Grigoryevsky is the tract Lysychki. It is located on the banks of the Ranova River, therefore, in the summer, many vacationers come here.
To the south-east of the village, on the slope of the left root bank of the Ranova River, is the state natural reserve “Forest-steppe tract Knyazhoe”.
