Shchuchye Lake is a settlement in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky municipal district of the Moscow region . Part of the rural settlement Vereisk ^[2] . Population - 1 ^[1] people. (2010).

Geography

The village of Shchuchye Lake is located in the northern part of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district, about 5 km east of the city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo . 2 km to the north of the village is the lake Gorbatoe. Altitude 115 m ^[3] . The nearest town is Orlovka .

History

Formed as a settlement of peat developers 44 plot . In 2002, it was renamed Shchuchye Ozero ^[4] .

Before the municipal reform of 2006, the settlement was part of the Vereisky rural district of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district ^[5] .
