Diocese of Oran ( Latin: Dioecesis Novoraniensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of San Ramon de la Nueva Oran , Argentina . The Diocese of Oran is a member of the Salt Metropolitanate . The cathedral of the Diocese of Oran is the church of St. Raimund Nonnat .

History
On April 10, 1961, Pope John XXIII issued the bull Supremi muneris , which he established the Diocese of Oran, separating it from the Archdiocese of Salta.
On January 27, 1970, the Diocese of Oran transferred part of its territory for the formation of a new territorial prelature of Umauaki .
