History

On April 10, 1961, Pope John XXIII issued the bull Fit Fitaepe , which established the Diocese of San Francisco, separating it from the Archdiocese of Cordoba.

  • Bishop Agustín Adolfo Herrera (September 8, 1965 - December 2, 1988);
  • Bishop of Baldomero Carlos Martini (12/2/1988 - 02/14/2004), appointed Bishop of San Justo ;
  • Bishop Carlos José Tissera (November 16, 2004 - October 12, 2011), appointed Bishop of Quilmes ;
  • Bishop Sergio Osvaldo Buenanueva (since May 31, 2013).
