Nadia Mladjao ( born Nadia Mladjao ; born April 5, 1979), better known as Imani ( born Imany ), is a French singer. Her stage name in Swahili means "faith." The singer's debut album, The Shape of a Broken Heart , ^[1] released in 2011, received platinum status in France and Greece, and also became three times platinum in Poland.

Biography

Born April 5, 1979 in Martigues in a family from Comoros ^[2] .

In her youth she was engaged in high jumps. She spent 7 years in the United States ^[3] ^[4] before returning to France and starting her singing career ^[5] ^[6] ^[7] .
