Located at the eponymous railway platform .
History
According to one of the versions, the settlement was formed in 1936 as a result of the merger of several nearby farms. The originally formed settlement was planned to be called 603 km , a mile from Leningrad, the nearby railway line Leningrad - Moscow , or Vinogradovo , on the estate of Count Vinogradov, located here once. In the end, the village got its name in honor of A. N. Radishchev . [2]
At the same time, on the topographic map of 1983, near the village of Radishchevo (marked west of the platform), there are settlements of 603 km (just north of the platform) and the village of Vinogradovo (west of the platform). Near the village there is a picturesque forest lake suitable for swimming, which is fed from springs and enlarged in the 1930s as a result of the construction of a dam on the creek-tributary of the Radomli River [3] .
In 2005, the name Radishchevo was given to the village of the 6th furniture factory , located 2 km east of the platform. [3] [4]
In July 2015, Radishchevo had its own website http://radishevo.info/ .
