Title
In honor of the October Revolution.
Geography
Located on the left bank of Alatyr , 7 km from the district center and 18 km from the Ardatov railway station.
History
It was founded in 1929 by the workers of the “Wave of Revolution” pig farm, and since 1997 - SKHPK.

Russian Orthodox Church
In 1998-1999 a church parish was formed in honor of the icon of the Iveron Mother of God.
Near the village, in a pine forest, Iversky Spring (Silver Spring) with a wooden chapel and a bathhouse.
People Associated with the Village
Natives of Oktyabrsky are honored agricultural workers of the MASSR N.P. Suchilin, V. G. Yakovlev, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Moldova E. N. Kochetkova.
