Robert Chkhaidze ( July 22, 1972 , Batumi ) is a Georgian political, state and public figure.

In 1994 he graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of the Georgian Technical University . In 2003, he received a master's degree in economics and law from the Higher Financial School of Batumi.
In 1999-2004, he headed the department at the Ministry of Finance of Adjara .
In 2005-2007 he was vice-mayor of Batumi , from September 8 to September 14, 2007 - first deputy mayor, acting head of the mayor.
From 2007 to 2012 - the mayor of Batumi. He left his post on the eve of the elections on October 1, 2012 in connection with the nomination of the ruling party " United National Movement " as a candidate for deputy of the Supreme Council of Adjara. Elections in the Armed Forces of the Adjara Autonomous Republic were held simultaneously with the parliamentary elections in Georgia.
