Yangxin ( Chinese р 信 п , Pinyin : Yángxìn ) is a county in Binzhou City District, Shandong Province ( PRC ). The name of the county is due to the fact that it is located on the northern ("Yang") side of the Xinhe River (Xinshui).

History
The county was created under the Western Han Empire in 202 BC. e.
In 1950, the Huimin Special District (惠民 专区) was formed, and the county became part of it. In 1958, Yangxin County was annexed to Udi County, but was restored in 1961. In 1967, Huimin Special District was renamed Huimin County (惠民 地区). In 1992, Huimin County was renamed Binzhou County (滨州 地区).
In 2000, the Binzhou District was disbanded by a decision of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and the Binzhou City District was formed instead.
