Biography
He participated in the civil war of 1962-1970 on the side of the Republicans, commanding the troops of the Hashed tribe.
In 1964 - 1965 - Minister of Internal Affairs of the YAR .
In 1971 - 1974 - Chairman of the Advisory Board of the YAR.
In 1977 - 1978 - Deputy Chairman of the YAR Tribal Command Council.
In 1979, he was appointed a member of the Advisory Board.
In 1993 - 2006 he was the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Yemen , repeatedly re-elected in this position. [2]
Died of cancer in a hospital in Riyadh .
