In 2008, he began playing for Veres . Then he played for Vinnytsia Niva for six months, after which he returned to Veres. Then he played for Cherkasy “ Slavutich ” and IFC “ Nikolaev ”, where three times in a row he became the top scorer of the teams of the season. In 2014 he became a player of the Lviv “ Carpathians ”. In 2015, he acted on a rental basis for the Uzhgorod “ Goverla ”.
Biography
He began to play football at the Sarnensky sports school with Anatoly Ivanovich Nazarchuk, then continued his studies at the Sturm sports boarding school in Kostopol with coach Ivan Aleksandrovich Yaruta [3] . Being an 11th grade student, he was declared in the second league for Veres , where he made his debut at the age of 16.
The following year, coach Oleg Fedorchuk invited Sergiychuk to the group A team's second league team to participate in the PFL Cup . In the semifinal match against the student team of Ukraine Sergiychuk did not realize a penalty, but in the match for third place he scored two goals from the game against the team of the first league. After this tournament, Fedorchuk took the striker to his Niva Vinnytsia, but due to the high competition in this team, Sergiychuk was forced to return to Veres six months later. Then for some time he played in the championship of the region for “Lighthouse” (Sarny).
In the spring of 2011, on the recommendation of Ivan Yaruta, the Slavutych coach Alexander Kirilyuk invited Sergiychuk to Cherkasy. Mikhail played for Slavutich from the first official match. Speaking with the team in the championship among amateurs, he did not score a single goal, but as soon as the team improved in class, forward Sergiychuk began to regularly score [4] , becoming his top scorer in the first two seasons in the second league.
In the summer of 2013, Oleg Fedorchuk headed the IFC “ Nikolaev ” and again invited Sergiychuk to his team [5] . This transfer was notable for the fact that, for the first time in ten years, Nikolaev paid money for a football player [6] . In the second match in the shirt of the “shipbuilders” Sergiychuk made a double into the goal of the Ternopil “ Niva ”, and in October, after the match of the Cup of Ukraine against “Nikolaev”, the coach of Shakhtar Donetsk Mircea Lucescu singled out a football player. “I liked the 9th number, Sergiychuk. He stood out markedly, ”said Mr. [7] In March of the following year, the attacker left the city of “shipbuilders” in the status of the best summer-fall scorer of the first league season, scoring 10 goals in 20 games played [8] .
Sergiychuk became a player of the Lviv “ Carpathians ”, with whom he signed a contract until December 31, 2018 [9] . The rest of the 2013/14 season, the football player spent in the “green lions” youth team, where he played in 5 matches of the youth championship. The off-season striker spent with the main team of Lviv. During the training camp, he distinguished himself in a double in a friendly match with the Slavonic " Zhilina " [10] .
Sergiychuk’s debut in the Premier League took place on August 3, 2014 in a game against Metallurg Donetsk. The attacker appeared on the field at the 60th minute of the match, replacing Taras Puchkovsky in the game [11] . On August 23, in a cup match against the amateur Chaika (Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district) Sergiychuk scored the first goal for the “white-green” [12] .
Given the lack of experience in performing in the elite division, the game of Sergiychuk in the first full six months in the "Carpathians" in terms of performing skills, speed of decision-making, the ability to choose a position and engage in martial arts looked raw. He scored his only goal in the Premier League fights only in the 11th round, when he scored in the goal of “ Dawn ” [13] . According to Bogdan Strontitsky : “Mikhail lacked stability, a game with a warm heart and a cold mind” [13] .
At the beginning of the next championship, Sergiychuk got into the Carpathian bid for the season, but did not participate in the first two rounds. In search of gaming practice [14] on August 7, 2015, the striker transferred on loan by the end of the 2015/16 season to Uzhgorod “ Goverla ”, and under the agreement, “Carpathians” had the right to withdraw the player to the winter transfer window [15] . The striker had other rental options - Uipest from Budapest and Zaporozhye Metallurg , but after talking with Vyacheslav Grozny he chose the Uzhgorod club [16] . On December 7, 2015, it became known that Sergiychuk was returning to Karpaty, however, if they are not counting on him in the Lviv club, he has options to continue playing on loan with other teams, including Goverla [17] .
In 2019, for the first time in his career, he moved to a foreign club - the Latvian “ Ventspils ” [18] .
