Biography
Born September 18, 1935 in the city of Kyzyl in the Tuva People’s Republic in a family of doctors. His father, Balchiy-ool Kuzma Balchirovich, was one of the first organizers of health care in the Republic of Tuva, the first chief doctor of a republican hospital after the republic became part of the USSR in 1944. Belova's mother Faina Georgievna is the organizer and first chief physician of the Kyzyl ambulance station [1] .
In 1961 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Medical Institute and became the first urologist in the surgical department in the Republic. He graduated from clinical residency in 1967 at the Department of Urology of the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. N.I. Pirogova . Returning to Tuva, he organized a specialized urological service, the first urological department in the Republican Hospital in Kyzyl, which he headed until 1984, combining with the post of chief urologist of the Tuva ASSR . Having a traditional (European) medical education and mastering non-traditional (eastern) methods, John Kuzmich Balchiy-ool successfully combined them in his work. For more than 30 years, he has been dealing with chronic, difficult to treat diseases of the bladder in women, using complex therapy. He was the first to introduce acupuncture in the treatment of urological diseases [1] .
John Kuzmich Baltschiy-ool published about 20 scientific articles on urology and the monograph “Cystalgia” together with A. F. Darenkov [2] .
Since 1995, he worked at the Center for Family Planning and Reproduction in Moscow. John Kuzmich lived 78 years without ceasing to practice.
He was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelskoye cemetery in Moscow.
