Biography
The daughter of a doctor, Pano Mandenov, who headed the andrological clinic in Tiflis .
She graduated from the Agricultural Institute of the Georgian SSR (1934). She worked at the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Georgian USSR, lived in Tbilisi .
A researcher of the flora of Russia and the Caucasus, identified and described several species of giant cow parsnip (for example, Heracleum circassicum in 1970), including the cow parsnip Sosnovsky (allocated in 1944), named after the researcher of the Caucasian flora Dmitry Ivanovich Sosnovsky (1885-1953) .
