Siberian sulphide [2] ( lat. Spodiopogon sibiricus ) is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Seroborodnik ( Spodiopogon ) of the family of cereals ( Poaceae ). First described in 1820 by the German-Russian botanist Carl Bernhard Trinius [3] [4] .

Distribution, description
Distributed from Siberia ( Russia ) to Japan and China [5] . It grows on stony, forested areas, among shrubs [2] .
Rhizophrenic geophyte [5] . Perennial herbaceous plant. Leaf simple, lanceolate and linear forms, without division, with a smooth edge; leaf location of the next. Inflorescence - spike . Flowers are up to 1 cm in size, with an inconspicuous perianth. Fruit - grain , yellow [2] .
Security Notes
Included in the Red Books of the Irkutsk Region and the Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous District (the latter has now been abolished as a region of the Russian Federation) [2] .
